Where is OnWatt located?
We are located in Salina, New York. We set up shop in and with a revitilizing communities environmental response trust.
Can I drop off my equipment instead of shipping it?
Yes! Drop offs require an appointment. Please schedule your appointment through our contact us form.
How Many MW can your facility accommodate?
At this time our facility has 9MW (MegaWatts) of capacity. We have our own yard and we're directly connected to one of National Grids largest transmission yards giving us the capability to grow.
What are OnWatt's electrical stats?
Our substation yard takes 115kV from National Grid and steps it down to 480kV. Ultimately, our substations convert the electricity down to 415V for the PDU's and the PDU's step that down to 240V to the units.
How often does the power go out?
While we can not guarentee 100% uptime, we are taking all precautions to avoid power outages and historically our facility has had an extraordinary track record. We do not expect to see any power outages in the future due to exemplary maintenance efforts to our infrastructure and proper planning.

Do I have to sign a Contract?
Yes. We will send you a contract and an invoice simultaneously. The contract is the agreement between OnWatt and yourself. We do recommend you read through it thoroughly, sign it and return it, as we cannot start the hosting process without it.
What happens after you send me an invoice?
After full payment of the invoice, you may ship or drop off your machines, and we will be ready to host you.
What happens once you receive my units?
Once we receive the machines, our team will immediately start connecting them - in accordance with our agreement.
When is my start date?
Your start date is the day your units go live.
How much does it cost?

Is there a setup fee?

Do I have to pay sales tax?
No sales tax for US residents, unless they are located in New York State.
Current New York State tax is 8%.
No VAT or sales tax for international clients.
How can I pay?
You can pay by USD wire transfer.
Will I have access to my units?
VPN is available to all of our clients.
What cables do I have to provide?
OnWatt will provide initial networking and power supply cables.
Do you offer free restarts?
Yes. Restarts are included with your service, and they are part of our normal weekly maintenance.If your unit requires excessive restarts, we will have to charge a modest fee of $1/Restart.
How quickly will my unit be online after it arrives at your facility?
Depending on order size and how many clients are coming in at the same time; we strive for same day as delivery. If the delivery is large or a large delivery came in before you then it could take up to 48 hours.
What happens at the end of my contract?
At the end of our agreement there will be 3 options: renewal of the agreement, request the return of units at client's expense or request that the unit be decommissioned and disposed.
